What we collect

Account details (name, email), the student profiles a parent creates, and the school data our connectors read on the family's behalf: assignments, grades, messages, menus and calendar events.

Credentials for school tools

When a family connects a tool with its own login, the credentials are encrypted with a per-connection key the moment they are saved, are decrypted only inside our sync service to read that student's data, are never shown again, and are deleted when the family disconnects the tool.

Who can see student data

The family that created the profile, the student (if a login was created), and staff of the school the student is enrolled at, only for the purposes of school communication. We never sell data and never use it for advertising.

Children

Student logins are created by a parent or guardian. We rely on the parent's consent for students under 13.

Deleting your data

Disconnecting a tool deletes its synced data. Deleting a family space deletes every profile, connection and calendar in it. Email privacy@skoolview.com for anything else.
